Calibrated Wavelengths

There are 6 calibrated wavelengths 850, 1300,1310, 1490, 1550, and 1625 nm. The selected wavelength is shown at the top of the LCD display.

Absolute Measurements

The instrument can measure the actual strength of the light signal received and displays a value in either dBm (decibel miliwatts) or µW (microwatts)

Relative Measurements

By capturing a Reference level subsequent measurements can be expressed in terms of relative power measured in dB (decibel)

The KE8000 is an inexpensive and easy-to-use optical power meter in pocket format for attenuation measurement during installation and maintenance of single and multimode optical networks.
